Job description : CA with 2-3 years professional experience in an international environment
Major Responsibilities :
- Conduct financial/ Business analysis to assess the company's performance across key KPIs, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements on a monthly basis after closing and prepare management reports.
- Preparation of key dashboards splitting the results by region / Business line for local/corporate reporting
- Collaborate with various departments to create budgets and quarterly forecasts in line with group guidelines
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and explain variances.
- Prepare regular financial reports for the regional management as well as for Corporate Reporting as per the group guidelines
- Develop and maintain financial models to support reporting and analysis.
- Investigate and explain discrepancies between Budget /Forecast and actual financial results.
- Collect, validate, and organize financial data from different sources for reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity for reporting purposes.
- Ad hoc projects - which could include due diligence in the case of acquisitions, assistance with training and induction programmers for new recruits, analysis of proposed systems enhancements (both reporting and ERP systems) plus others where appropriate and as required by the Finance Controller.
- Present financial information and analysis to various stakeholders including preparation of presentations for Board Meetings / Monthly reviews / Management Committee meetings.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather information and insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Participate in system upgrades and implementations related to ERP Improvements / financial reporting tools / BI Systems
- Assess financial risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Contribute to the development of risk management strategies.
- Utilize various BI tools to streamline reporting processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Good accountancy skills and understanding of the structure of P&Ls and Balance sheets and the important KPIs
- Excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft suite of products, (particularly Excel - able to write and adjust macros) and MS power platforms . Ability to work with sophisticated financial reporting systems and BI tools including but not limited to PowerBI
- Analytical mind with attention to detail, and ability to "think out of the box".
- Ability to be creative in order to translate data into "information".
- A self-starter, able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Team player, flexible, open-minded, commercial, responsible
- High level of motivation and positive approach
- Fluent English, any other languages a plus
