Job Description
- As a project manager, you will have to ensure the smooth and effective running of the projects with a focus on great output
- The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day business of the operations department while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as business analysis, vendor management, and risk management; and work closely with the COO on other special planning and departmental projects
- In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and budget while managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
Responsibilities
- Designing end-to-end project plans with the Operations Team. Overseeing project planning, long-term planning, project status reporting. Making, tracking, and regulating the Operations department budget, project budgets, and cash
- flows. Working with the service leads to improve project-wise feedback, increase team and cost
- efficiency. Coordinating with the sales team for kit calendar and project planning. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, internal business lines, and
- external vendors. Observing the systems, processes, and infrastructure across departments while suggesting
- opportunities for improvement or revision. Ensuring compliance with all applicable local regulations, including applying, maintaining, and
- following up. Raising and tracking issues or conflicts; removing barriers; resolving issues of medium
- complexity involving stakeholders; and escalating to the appropriate level when required.
- Collaborating with other back-office team members to ensure seamless business execution. Working closely with the management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and
- compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance with regulatory-based best practices.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Engineer, BBA/MBA with 4+ years experience. Strong analytical skills and sharp attention to detail. Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and resourceful, with an innovative mindset.
- Ability to work in creative and dynamic work environments.
- Strong relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Have the professional dexterity to contribute in operational, business, and technical dialogues.
- Have a professional and positive attitude and willingness to be a team player and assist
- co-workers at all levels. Proven ability to manage individuals. Proven self-starter who considers second and third level impacts of day-to-day decisions. Must be flexible and willing to respond as required to frequent out of hours problems.
