Job Description
- Design, develop and deploy ABB high-integrity safety systems for industrial applications, focusing on maintaining high levels of operational safety and integrity.
- Setup, configure and commissioning of ABB high-integrity safety solutions in line with project requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise in ESD, PSD, F&G and C&E, programming of safety logics, HMI interface, testing, and functional verifications.
- Interpret P&IDs and control narratives. Prepare technical documentation including FDS, IO lists, operation manuals and test procedures.
- Execute ethernet network configurations and communication protocols which are used for safety networks.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate risks associated with safety systems.
- Identify opportunities for optimizing system performance and reliability and implement improvements in collaboration with the engineering team.
Work Experience
- A Graduate engineer with 10+ years of experience in Safety system engineering specializing in ABB Safety HI system.
- Good experience in Pre-FAT, FAT, installation and commissioning of Safety systems.
- TUV and FSM certified engineer.
- Good understanding of plant safety concepts such as ESD, PSD, F&G, C&E and Pressure protecting systems.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale safety projects, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or manufacturing sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information.
