Job Description

MyQuest s objective is to provide a holistic development platform for young people as well as provide a lifelong, continuous learning opportunity to disadvantaged youth. We use content, pedagogy and technology, to drive the delivery of teaching and learning. Through our signature blended learning approach we develop critical life-work skills that are critical for success in the 21 st century. Our curriculum includes media elements like games, videos, audio, and visuals as well as the use of dictionaries for vernacular translations.

The Role:

The role will work as part of the Youth program team and coordinate with other members of the QUEST team to ensure efficient and effective implementation of projects undertaken by QUEST Alliance.

Roles and responsibilities

Timely Delivery and Program Implementation


  • Take responsibility for effective program delivery, review implementation, monitor within the agreed standards to Develop effective working relationships with the concerned Govt. departments and Institute Principals in alignment with ITI Ecosystem s state system journey map..

  • Take responsibility for effective program delivery, review implementation, monitor within the agreed standards to Develop effective working relationships with the concerned CSO partner heads in alignment with the MoU and supporting VTI South Region Lead on the same

  • Ensure there is a work plan in place for the state and your team, and everyone is able to contribute and implement accordingly.

  • Identify and develop learning within the program and facilitate the capturing of these learnings

  • Conduct monthly/quarterly review meetings with program stakeholders- center heads, trainers etc.

  • Ensure that the trainers and centers gradually become independent and adept at using the content

  • Participate and contribute to training of trainers.

  • Working with ITI South region lead and supporting the team to achieve annual goals set for the state, region and of the projects.

  • Support and ensure the delivery of Career development programs in all the Women ITIs in the state with the support of program team, facilitators and consultants.

  • Manage projects ensure deliverables are met for the state

  • Ensure the monitoring data reaches the ME focal point on time.

  • Support coordination of baseline/ endline and other assessments

  • Ensure students data is updated in centre database

  • Make sure trainers and principal at the institute know about our work through simple monthly reports

  • Provide regular written and verbal reports tracking progress against the work plan and implementation schedules

  • Ensure use of the appropriate ME tools of reporting by the team.

  • Ensure all the program report including case studies, photographs reaches the ME focal point at the stipulated time from the state.

  • Documentation of centre, trainer and student success stories

  • Following up with ITI s to share data of students and Institutes as required by ME framework.

  • Participate and contribute to team meetings and reviews

  • Support all reporting requirements such as quarter reviews, annual reviews

Relationship Management - Stakeholders (Internal and External)
  • Develop an Effective working relationship with the officials from training, placement, Administration and leadership at DET, Gujarat, CSO partners and other key stakeholders.

Work with VTI CSO heads to ensure

  1. MoU commitments in Training and Placements are met

  2. Timely release and utilization of subgrants

  3. Quality intervention

  • Actively engage and contribute to Industry Engagement/placement Strategies internally.

  • Coordinating with placement lead and team members in the states to ensure greater industry engagement in placement systems of the state.

  • Work closely with the Placement Manager of your region / state and call out the required support.

  • Working with thematic functions or support teams such as training, communications, research, data tech, FAIT and any other internal teams as required to fulfill program and organizational requirements.

Team Management

  • You may have to manage the Gujarat ITI team and fellow/interns of the program as relevant.

  • Ensure necessary capacity building activities are planned for the team to work effectively

  • Ensure each team member has Annual and quarterly goals defined and the same are reviewed quarterly.

Reporting

  • Ensure timely delivery of monitoring data to the ME focal point for self team

  • Support the coordination of baseline, endline, and other assessments.

  • Update student data in the center database.

  • Inform trainers and principals about the program s progress through monthly reports.

  • Document success stories of centers, trainers, and students.

  • Support all reporting requirements, including quarterly and annual reviews.

Requirements

  • Awareness of sensitivity and gender inclusion in education, skills, and the workplace.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Passion for addressing the challenges of educating India s youth population.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with multicultural teams, government ministries, and diverse stakeholders.

  • Capability to ensure quality deliverables and project timelines while maintaining high attention to detail.

  • Strong judgment, excellent English communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong personal commitment to the values of Quest Alliance.

  • Willingness to travel locally and across the country.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and proactively explore solutions.

  • Demonstrated understanding of research, monitoring, and evaluation.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Highest levels of integrity, maturity, and professionalism.
