Area Service Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Promptly following up on service requests and providing customer feedback.
• Using various strategies and tools to provide effective solutions to customers' concerns.
• Supporting customers through technical and administrative activities
• Audit abnormal warranty claims from Dealers.
• Manage used parts return process in system vs billed parts in warranty claim.
• Support Dealers on monthly spare parts usage tracking and for forecasted orders.
• Processing the spare order PO from dealers on timely basis and tracking the complete process till dispatch.
• Issuing Credit Note or Part to Part replacement to the warranty claims as per dealer demand.
• Implement Monthly inventory counts to ensure it tallies with physical and system at dealership by respective Service Engineers.
• Final Auditing and getting Approval for the monthly warranty claims from various authorized service Centers and respective field technicians
• Quarterly performance audit of Authorized Service Centers warranty management as per approved evaluation and audit criteria.
• Provide warranty management training to Service Managers for Authorized dealers
• Review and implement warranty claim management in the system by Accepting, holding or rejecting the Claims
• Approve the Service coupons & Courier Receipt Reimbursement claim after final audit
• Drafting Troubleshoot procedure for frequently occurring product failure with SOP Solution.
• Communicating with clients, engineers, and other technicians to ensure that services are delivered effectively.
• Providing after sale service feedback to the various stake holders like production Team, PDI Team, Quality Team and R&D at plant to improve the quality of the product for future vehicles.
• Providing recommendations about new features and product improvements.
• Conducting research and attending workshops to remain abreast of industry developments.
