The ServiceNow Architect with expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM Modules is a strategic role responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the ServiceNow platform, specializing in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules. This role plays a critical role in shaping the ServiceNow landscape to optimize IT processes, improve service delivery, and ensure effective asset management.
Responsibilities :
Module Architecture and Design: Lead the architecture and design of ServiceNow solutions focusing on ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into scalable and efficient technical designs. Design end-to-end solutions that align with industry best practices, organizational goals, and leverage the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
Module Implementation and Customization: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and customization of ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules. Drive the development of custom applications, workflows, scripts, integrations, and automations to enhance module functionalities.
Integration and Automation: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems, both internal and external, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation. Develop automation solutions to streamline IT processes, enhance efficiency, and improve user experience.
Process Enhancement: Evaluate and optimize ITIL-based processes within ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules to improve operational efficiency and service quality. Identify opportunities for process automation, orchestration, and continuous improvement.
Configuration Management and Discovery: Lead the configuration management strategy, including defining and maintaining the CMDB schema, CI relationships, and data reconciliation processes. Implement integration between ITAM and ITOM modules for accurate configuration data.
Service Mapping and Event Management: Drive the implementation of ServiceNow Service Mapping and Event Management capabilities within ITOM. Architect and configure service maps, event rules, impact calculations, and automated response actions.
Asset Lifecycle Management: Define and implement end-to-end IT asset lifecycle processes within the ITAM module, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement. Ensure accurate tracking of hardware and software assets, licenses, contracts, and warranties.
Governance and Security: Establish governance practices for module design, development, and configuration changes to maintain platform stability and security. Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure the secure operation of ServiceNow solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business units, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements, align module strategies with business needs, and ensure successful project delivery.
Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment guides. Provide training and mentorship to technical teams, administrators, and stakeholders on module functionalities and best practices
