Job Title: Assistant Manager - Dispatch

About the Role: To ensure the seamless execution of dispatch operations while adhering to the sales plan, maintaining operational accuracy, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch Planning & Coordination :

• Develop and execute dispatch schedules based on sales plans and inventory availability.
• Coordinate with production, packaging, and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.

SAP Operations :

• Manage SAP entries related to material movement and dispatch plans.
• Ensure familiarity with relevant transaction codes and maintain accurate system records.

Material Verification :

• Physically cross-check materials transferred from packing to FG stores against system records.
• Address discrepancies in material counts and escalate issues where necessary.

Documentation Management :

• Prepare accurate packing lists and verify material alignment with the lists.
• Ensure the availability of lab test reports with packed materials.

Billing & Compliance :

• Generate tax invoices and e-way bills with precision.
• Ensure adherence to statutory compliance for all dispatch activities.

Accounts Reconciliation :

• Monitor and reconcile sales accounts regularly.
• Collaborate with finance teams to resolve payment-related queries.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain coordination with transporters to optimize delivery schedules.
• Support in inventory audits and stock validation processes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for dispatch efficiency.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
• Additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are advantageous.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 8 - 14 years of relevant experience in dispatch or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

SKILL REQUIRED:

A. TECHNICAL

• Proficiency in SAP and knowledge of relevant transaction codes.
• Strong command over MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Sound understanding of taxation (GST) and e-way bill generation.
