Role & responsibilities :-

• Develop and implement efficient dispatch schedules, considering production plans, order volumes, delivery deadlines, and transportation availability.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
• Optimize dispatch routes to minimize transportation costs and delivery times.
• Manage and prioritize urgent orders to meet customer requirements.
• Oversee the selection and management of transportation providers (trucking companies, etc.).
• Negotiate transportation rates and contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor transportation performance, addressing delays or issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages or overstock situations.
• Participate in stocktaking and reconciliation activities.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, including delivery notes, invoices, and transportation documents.
• Prepare reports on dispatch performance, including on-time delivery rates, transportation costs, and other key metrics.
• Ensure all documentation is compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and train dispatch staff, loaders, etc.
• Enforce all safety regulations and procedures related to dispatch operations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to the handling and transportation of bio fertilizers.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in dispatch operations.

Preferred candidate profile : -

• Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation principles, including route planning, transportation regulations, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficient to MS Office
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with bio fertilizer products and handling procedures.
