Senior Manager, Accounting

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the accounting month-end close process, annual budgeting, and annual audit.
• Areas of focus include: general accounting, software revenue recognition, and international consolidations.
• Review financial results and work with responsible parties to improve results for QSC.
• Identify areas of improvement within the accounting function and to be a change agent to help address opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
• Draft whitepapers and policy & procedures on a variety of accounting issues.

• bachelors Degree in finance-related discipline (accounting, finance, business administration, economics)
• CPA required
• At least 2 years Big 4 experience
• At least 7 years of Accounting progressively challenging experience within mid-size to large companies with high growth
• Experience using Oracle R12
• Experience with OneStream
• This position has a high level of independence. It is expected that this role will help to improve QSC Accounting policies within the assigned area
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization and influence processes across multiple functions and stakeholders
• Proven ability to work closely with internal IT personnel
• Ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a software company
