Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Finance/Accounting Associate to join our team. As a Finance/Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance and accounting functions of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Conduct financial research, analyse financial data, and identify trends and insights.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for management.
2. General Accounting:
Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, invoices, and payments.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
3. Financial Systems and Processes:
Utilize financial software and systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and controls.
Identify areas for automation and optimization of financial systems.
4. Compliance and Auditing:
Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
Participate in audit processes and implement audit recommendations.
5. Financial Planning and Budgeting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and provide analysis of budget variances.
Collaborate with departmental managers to support their budgeting and financial planning needs.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide financial insights.
Assist in the development of financial models, business cases, and investment analyses.
Support finance-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in using financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, spreadsheets, Zoho Books, Tally ERP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
