Job Description & Summary:

Within Advisory, PwC has a large team that focus on technical assistance and capacity building of Governments through support to large-scale projects contributing to Private sector development with a special focus on industrial ecosystem development. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and contribute to MSME ecosystem development. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.

Responsibilities:

• Support the team in execution of projects in suitable roles/ capacities
• Support the team in varied business development activities
• Acquire and apply technical expertise related to research, validation and analysis of data and deliver quality client deliverables

• CA/ CFA, having consistent superlative academic performance
• Fluency in English language reading/ speaking/ writing; any additional language will be an asset
• Strong report writing and financial and data analytic skills (proficiency in MS Excel is a minimum, however it would be an asset to have proficiency in additional tools)
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and processes

Desirable:

• Experience of working in organisations offering similar scope and job description
• Experience of working in the financial sector space (e.g. insurance, pension, banking or other financial institutions)
• Educational degree from a foreign institution (especially from an institution at Singapore, USA, UK with high QS ranking) will be strongly preferred

Mandatory skill sets:

• Published reports (preferably as individual contributor) in national/ sub-national journals
• Articleship experience with Big 4/ reputed audit firm
• Industrial training experience with research, banking, insurance and other financial institutions
• Knowledge of advanced MS office tools (like Visio, Advanced Excel)
• Data management tools like SPSS, R, Python
• Data visualization tools such as Tableau/ PowerBI

Preferred skill sets:

• Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint tools
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Knowledge in any of the following areas: Management Consulting; Funding Agencies; Government consulting specific sectors (e.g., Public Finance & Economics, Public Financial Services etc.)

3 -6 Years

Education qualification:

• Marks obtained in 10th and 12th standards, Graduation and Post-graduation (till ongoing semester); Subjects taken during each standard
• Articleship and working experience (if any)
• Publication (if any)
