Job Description
- Finalization of RDBMS requirement and specifications for the Land GIS project.
- Assisting in designing the database architecture within the overall Solution Architecture.
- Development of data model for Raster (Image data), Spatial data (GIS Layers) and Nonspatial MIS data
- GISMIS integration.
- Integration of different and diverse RDBMS
- Database management and maintenance activities (data backup, Data Archiving)
- Data Migration from Legacy systems
- Knowledge of strong SQL and database programming skills
- Use SQL to query, update, and manage databases, to write complex SQL queries and Optimization of SQL code
- Understand database optimization techniques
- Strong Database Security including hardware, software, and networking knowledge
- Understanding of defining user roles and permissions, implementation of access control mechanisms, how to use database administration tools etc.
- Understanding of how to define and implement data management policies
- Preferred RDBMS platform exp. MS SQL Server
