PwC - Manager/Associate Director - Payments Architect - Big4 (10-16 yrs)

Looking for Payments Architect Manager / Associate Director

Responsibilities:

- Lead and build out the Payment Tech. sub practice under payment transformation with a focus on technology solution sales & delivery.

- Build out and take to market customized payment solution for domestic & global clients (Banks, Non Banks & Central banks / operators). These will be mainly frontend application but also could also be wrapper / middleware solutions customized for varied client needs.

- Ability to hold conversations and defend solutions with senior technology stakeholders like CTO, Chief Solution Architecture, Risk & Cyber team at clients.

- Leading sales initiatives including building proposals, responding to RFP, creating demos, wireframes, PoCs, etc.

- Hiring, building & managing teams to deliver complex implementation projects.

- Actively participate in cross-functional, cross -discipline teams to identify the best fit technology solution and team to deliver the same.

- Contribute to thought leadership space in the payments space by creating white paper, case studies, analysis of trends etc.

Required Skills (must have):

- Should have done coding and development activities in the past and understands how to Solution, architect, build and integrate custom payment solutions across cards, wallets, faster payments, cross border payments and corporate payments.

- Should have experience in both sales / presales and delivery of technology implementation projects.

- Experience and deep understand of the latest technologies in developing next generation front end solutions (JavaScript, ReactJS, AngularJS, Flutter, Bootstrap, Ionic, etc.) that seamlessly integrate into the current client technology landscape.

- Experience in building tech solution that can be both on-prem & cloud native / compatible, modular, microservice and multi tenancy capable.

- Experience in leading sales initiatives including building proposals, responding to RFP, creating demos, wireframes, PoCs, etc.

- Have decent understanding and experience of working on payments products like Debit card management, credit card management, EFT Switch, FRM, payment gateway, reconciliation, etc.

- Experience in designing payments architecture covering integration details, system specification, security specification, impact analysis, for payment products

- Experience and knowledge about leading industry standards and practice with respect to technology architecture design (like togaf, BIAN, etc) and security.

- Knowledge on cloud and on-prem infrastructure sizing, data and payments security (PCI DSS/PA DSS compliance) and integration / API technologies.

- Problem solving solution skills and experience in handling complex transformation projects.

- Strong communication, client handling and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills:

- Prior technology architecture design experience in the retail payments domain with technology firms and financial institutes in India.

- Implementation experience of payment products in India and Globally.

- Consultative selling skills.
