Job Title: Looker Senior Consultant - Senior Associate
Experience: 5+ years
Location: Bengaluru
About the Role:
As a Senior Looker Developer, Member will be responsible for
designing, developing, and maintaining Looker-based solutions to
meet data analytics needs - to understand requirements, design
data models, develop LookML code, Plx code and create insightful
visualizations and dashboards. Also, should possess experience with
Biq Query, Python and SQL.
Location: Bengaluru
About the Role:
As a Senior Looker Developer, Member will be responsible for
designing, developing, and maintaining Looker-based solutions to
meet data analytics needs - to understand requirements, design
data models, develop LookML code, Plx code and create insightful
visualizations and dashboards. Also, should possess experience with
Biq Query, Python and SQL.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate to gather requirements and translate them
into technical specifications.
Design and develop scalable data models using LookML.
Create and optimize Looker dashboards and visualizations
to present data insights effectively.
Optimize code in PLX to present data insights and
visualization effectively
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Looker
queries and dashboards.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate
Looker with other data sources and tools.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team
members.
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in
data analytics and Looker development.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree
Proven experience as a Looker Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in LookML and Looker administration.
Experience with SQL, data modeling, and database
concepts.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical
solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP is a plus.
Mandatory skill sets: GCP Data Engineer, 5+ yrs, {BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions,
Python, SQL}, Certification optional.
Preferred skill sets: GCP Data Engineer, 5+ yrs, {BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions,
Python, SQL}, Certification optional.
Years of experience required: 5-8 years
Education qualification: BE/BTECH, ME/MTECH, MBA, MCA
