1. Food Preparation & Cooking

• Assist in preparing ingredients (chopping vegetables, marinating, portioning, etc.).
• Help in cooking basic dishes like fast food, snacks, and beverages (popcorn, burgers, pizzas, nachos, sandwiches, etc.).
• Ensure consistent taste, portion size, and presentation of food items.
• Follow standard recipe guidelines and company food preparation procedures.

2. Kitchen Hygiene & Food Safety

• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and workstations as per food safety standards.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to prevent food contamination.
• Ensure proper storage and labelling of raw materials and cooked food.
• Dispose of waste properly and adhere to sanitation protocols.

3. Assisting Senior Chefs & Teamwork

• Work under the guidance of a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef.
• Assist in managing inventory and stock rotation.
• Support in receiving and checking food deliveries for quality and quantity.
• Help during peak hours by handling multiple orders quickly.

4. Customer Service & Coordination

• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely food service.
• Address customer requests (if working at a live counter).
• Ensure food items are served hot, fresh, and as per order specifications.

5. Equipment Handling & Maintenance

• Operate kitchen equipment safely (grills, fryers, ovens, etc.).
• Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of cooking tools and appliances.
• Report any malfunctions or repairs needed for kitchen equipment.
