Role & responsibilities

Must Have Skill:- Linux support , SQL-debugging, SQl code query , besic shell scripting

• Handing production support requests.
• Adhere to ITIL support practices (Incident/Problem/Change/Release Management)
• Provide support during APAC and EMEA shift timings and flexible to work during weekends on need basis.
• Come up with innovative ideas to improve/automate existing process.
• Work directly with internal global users and system owners.
• Work closely with Dev Teams, BAs. Platform and other teams.
• Maintain production support documentation library ensuring documents are current and accurate.
• Actively participates in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity planning and testing. Activities to include

actual live fail over and failback exercises.

• As a part of Research Support team, candidate would be responsible for Monitoring the production status

and ensure that all research applications and their relates services along with all the Jobs works as expected;

handle customer communication around production issues.

• Manage the pipeline of support work and ensure on-time delivery.
• Respond to system generated alerts/escalations relating to any failures on the application platform.
• Perform RCA and identify and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Document standards, processes and procedures relating to best practices, issues and resolutions.
• Manage multiple competing priorities.
• Be available on call on rational basis.
• Participate in Adhoc queries, data analysis, and building Adhoc reports
