Proposal Engineer - Industrial IoT Solutions

About the Role:
We are seeking a Proposal Engineer with experience in Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions, technical proposals, and tender documentation. In this role, you will create high-quality proposals, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and work with Sales/BD, Embedded hardware team, and Software engineering /Product teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs. 

The ideal candidate has strong technical writing skills, is proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and understands IIoT, industrial automation, and smart pump solutions. 

Preferred Educational Qualification : B.E . ( Mechanical/Mechatronics/ECE) 

Required Experience  : 2-5 years 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proposal & Tender Management

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals that meet client requirements. 
• Collaborate with customers to create a Point of View Document that align with their needs and objectives 
• Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and tenders in the IIoT and industrial automation field. 
• Work with internal teams (Sales/BD, Embedded hardware team, and Software engineering /Product teams) to gather technical information and structure responses. 
• Maintain a library of templates, case studies, and past proposals. 

1. Documentation & Content Development

• Write clear and concise technical documents and product presentations. 
• Create PowerPoint decks for sales pitches, client meetings, and presentations. 
• Update and maintain standard response templates for future RFPs/RFIs 

1. Market & Competitor Research

• Analyze IIoT market trends, competitor products, and industry best practices to improve proposals. 
• Work with the cross functional team ( BD/Projects/Embedded Harware&Software/Product )team to ensure proposals address customer needs market demands and past learnings. 

1. Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Collaborate with sales, product management, and marketing teams to align proposals with company goals. 
• Identify areas for improvement in the proposal process and streamline workflows. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills (creating templates, formatting, structuring documents). 
• Experience responding to RFPs, RFIs, and tender documents for industrial or IIoT solutions. 
• Knowledge of Industrial IoT, automation, or industrial equipment solutions. 
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills. 
• Ability to understand technical requirements and create strong proposals. 
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IIoT platforms, smart pumps, or industrial automation solutions. 
• Knowledge of bid management processes and contract documentation. 
• Familiarity with tools like Adobe Acrobat, Visio, or project collaboration platforms.
