Job Title: Marketing Manager - Lytics & Public Markets

About the client: has been mandated to hire a Marketing Manager - Lytics & Public Markets for one of the leading pharmaceutical multinationals.
Job Purpose: To achieve brand market share targets and drive top-line sales through a comprehensive approach that integrates brand and customer planning along with long-term forecasting. This involves careful planning, allocation, and control of resources, including sales personnel and promotional budgets, while adopting a segment-wise strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrated brand/ customer planning long-term forecasting; Efficient use and deployment of resources so as to maximize business realization.
Planning and execution of Key Opinion Leader (KOL) advocacy initiatives, which include international speaker programs, train-the-trainer sessions, advisory boards, and both national and regional meetings.
Launching and managing brands within identified therapeutic segments, as well as overseeing strategic initiatives within these areas. Effective cross-functional collaboration is essential, involving coordination with Sales, Medical, Legal, Healthcare Compliance, Purchasing, Market Access, Regulatory, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to meet brand objectives.
Computation of monthly provisions to accurately assess Direct Promotion (DP) and Direct Selling and Services (DSS) expenditures, ensuring financial oversight and alignment with strategic goals.
People Management: Drive performance of the team, monitor and provide constructive feedback to improve performance & business outcome. Identify the teams training and development needs and ensure their fulfillment. Develop team to move to the next higher level of job. Ensure compliance with Company policies and values.
Customer Relationship Management: Maintains contact with key customers/major accounts within the assigned region to gauge customer need, satisfaction and expectation and gain market intelligence on competitor products and own standing; Ensure realization of business from key accounts as per set targets.
Sales Planning: High-performance orientation in order to realize the potential of the market. Prepare monthly and quarterly zonal sales forecasts based on the set targets and participate in the determination of market potential. Analyse market trend data (e.g. sales achievement, brand performance, customer feedback, competitor performance) to track the company s performance and market penetration, and develops/modifies zonal level sales strategies aligned to the overall all-India strategy.
Educational Qualifications And Experience:
Graduate in Science/Pharmacy with Post-Graduation in Marketing Management. Strong Marketing experience in formulating the brand plan and driving strategy execution to achieve top-line and bottom-line objectives. Business and financial acumen high, people leadership intermediate, high on collaboration, relevant marketing experience with a minimum of 5-6 years experience. To be based in Mumbai
