Head of Enterprise Risk

With an ever-growing scale of operations and B2C customer transactions, this role would enable the organization to maintain high-quality governance standards with clear visibility on risk metrics. The role will also be responsible for detecting, assessing, reporting, and mitigating risk to build robust processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives by establishing policies, procedures, and frameworks to identify, evaluate, and address risks.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key risks, including operational, financial, regulatory, reputational, and strategic risks.
• Leverage data to define key risk indicators (KRIs), ensuring precise risk evaluations and monitoring mitigation efforts for continuous improvement.
• Proactively identify emerging risks by analyzing industry trends, regulatory changes, technological developments, and other external factors.
• Oversee risks associated with the rolling product roadmap and manage those arising from ad hoc product changes throughout the year.
• Administer risk reporting processes, providing timely updates to the Risk Management Committee (RMC) while ensuring effective communication of risk incidents and resolutions.
• Foster collaboration within the team, providing guidance on risk management, and promoting continuous learning to enhance skills and performance.

Prior Experience & Skills:

• 12-14 years of experience in in the internet and technology sector or related sectors like financial services where enterprise risk is a core function of the business. At least 7 years of the candidate s must be in experience in ERM.
• The candidate should have experience in developing and implementing successful enterprise risk management frameworks.
• The candidate must be familiar with relevant industry regulations and standard risk management practices.
• The ideal candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA.
