Finance Executive

Brief Introduction for the role:

Prozo is looking for a Finance Executive to work on the company's accounting, financial reporting and compliance functions. The individual will be responsible for directing all aspects of the organization's financial operations. The role requires collaborateon across multiple stakeholders and implement best practices in financial planning, budgeting, analysis and compliance. The candidate will thrive in a culture of accountability and transparency and be highly responsive to the needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations including A/P, GL, Bank Reconciliation, Payment / Receipt entries
• Accounts payable/receivable reconciliation
• Monthly reconciliation of vendor accounts, ensuring that all payments, credits, and balances are accurate.
• Review vendor statements and invoices for discrepancies and resolve issues directly with vendors.
• Verify that invoices match purchase orders and goods receipts before booking them into the system.
• Record and process vendor bills and invoices accurately in the accounting system.
• Cross-check the details on invoices, ensuring that all required information (amounts, dates, terms, etc.) is complete and correct before processing payments.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies related to bills or payments.
• Work experience on Tally ERP is a must.

Desired Candidates Profile:

• B. Com: 2+ Yrs of experience
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Excel knowledge and software experience (Tally, Zoho etc).
• A self-motivated learner who contributes to a culture of excellence and lifts the performance of the entire team.
