Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Intelligence (BI) Delivery Lead in Pune.

We seek an experienced and highly skilled Business Intelligence Delivery Lead to lead and manage our BI projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong BI and data analytics background and proven project management skills.

The role entails developing, implementing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports, requiring an in-depth understanding of data visualization, business intelligence concepts, and substantial experience in Power BI development.

Responsibilities:

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against them

- Manage project development and testing resources and identify resource requirements in advance.

- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.

- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports according to business requirements.

- Gather and analyze data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and quality.

- Design and implement data models and transformations to support data visualization needs.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements.

- Create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI best practices.

- Optimize performance and ensure the scalability of Power BI solutions.

- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution to technical problems.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of Power BI solutions to ensure accuracy.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Power BI and data visualization.

- Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to project team members

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

- 5-6 years experience in Power BI development and data analytics

- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and report/dashboard design

- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL

- Data analytics, data transformation, and data cleansing proficiency

- Data Warehousing and ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and tools

- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and dimensional modelling

- Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Certifications in Business Intelligence tools are a plus
