A "Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in the power electronics field" is a senior executive responsible for leading the technical vision and strategy of a company specializing in power electronics technology, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of innovative power conversion systems, while managing a team of engineers and ensuring alignment with business goals across research, product development, and market trends within the power electronics sector; this includes staying updated on the latest advancements in power electronics components like IGBTs, SiC devices, and related control algorithms.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Strategic Technology Leadership:
• Defining the long-term technology roadmap for power electronics products, considering market demands, emerging technologies, and industry standards.
• Identifying new areas of innovation and research within power electronics to drive product differentiation.
• Evaluating potential partnerships and acquisitions to enhance the company's technical capabilities.
• Product Development Oversight:
• Leading the design and development of power electronics systems, including power converters, inverters, battery chargers, and motor control systems.
• Overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring quality, performance, and cost targets are met.
• Managing the development process, including circuit design, simulation, prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Engineering Team Management:
• Building and leading a high-performing team of power electronics engineers across various disciplines like hardware, software, and firmware.
