Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Recruitment & Onboarding :

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for sales and operational roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical FMCG roles.
  • Conduct new hire orientation programs to ensure smooth onboarding.

Employee Engagement :

  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace morale.
  • Organize training programs, workshops, and team-building activities tailored for FMCG workforce needs.
  • Address employee grievances and ensure timely resolution following company policies.

Performance Management :

  • Support the performance appraisal process, ensuring adherence to timelines and accuracy.
  • Assist in setting KPIs for employees, especially for field sales and operational teams.
  • Provide feedback mechanisms and coaching to enhance employee performance.

HR Compliance :

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure timely and error-free salary processing.

Learning & Development :

  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate with managers to implement training programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions for continuous improvement.

Workforce Planning & Administration :

  • Assist in workforce planning, ensuring optimum staff allocation to meet FMCG distribution and production needs.
  • Handle daily HR operations, including attendance, leave management, and MIS reporting.

HR Policy Implementation :

  • Communicate and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives across teams.
  • Ensure adherence to company values and standards at all levels.


Requirements

Required Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and employee lifecycle management in the FMCG sector.
  • Familiarity with labor laws, payroll management, and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in HR software tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to employee relations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
