  • Qualification required: MBA in Agribusiness, master s in social sciences, Development Studies, public policy, social policy, economics, and related fields from reputed colleges like IIM, ISB, IIT, IIFM, IRMA, JNU, TISS, AMU, Jamia Millia, DU, University of Hyderabad, Azim Premji University etc.

Experience required: Experience of 3-5 years in consulting or International NGO s (INGOs) in Knowledge Management and innovations around Women Economic Empowerment and livelihood promotion interventions with rural communities particularly supporting large scale Government interventions at national or state level.

Skill and Competencies:

  • Experience in strategic documentation for the organizational leadership, which must be easily digestible, unambiguous, engaging, informative, and convincing
  • Strong communication skills including academic writing, Proposal writing, Concept Notes, Donor reporting and partnership skills. Preference will be given to candidates comfortable with writing in Hindi and English
  • Ability to communicate in Hindi and local language
  • Should be proficient in Advanced MS-office specially Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. and other digital tools and aides.
  • Willingness to travel to project areas, including remote rural locations including relocation as per the project needs and requirements.

About the Role

PCI, India is a partner of BMGF and is technically supporting various Government Departments in Uttar Pradesh. PCI works closely with Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission and technically supports UPSRLM in implementation of interventions like Food, Health, Nutrition and WASH, Take Home Ration and other interventions around Women Economic Empowerment and Livelihoods like Fisheries, Beekeeping and Decentralized Renewable Energy. To augment and strengthen the effectiveness of its technical support, PCI is looking to hire Program Manager-Knowledge Management and Innovations for incubation of innovative models and prototypes around women economic empowerment, testing of these innovative models on ground, developing and compiling initial concept notes, pitch decks, design and develop knowledge products like resources materials, training materials, digital tools, design and develop case studies, success stories, compendiums, coffee table books, monthly briefs and slides decks for Donor and other stakeholders. S/he will work under close supervision of the Associate Director and support in overall project implementation, management, and documentation.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Manager-Knowledge Management & Innovations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting program delivery, enhancing organizational visibility, and ensuring effective communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Program Implementation Support
    • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring program activities to ensure timely delivery.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to address challenges and improve program outcomes.
    • Provide logistical and operational support for program execution.
  2. Knowledge Management and Strategic Communication
    • Develop and maintain knowledge resources, such as program guides, Digital tools, capacity building resource material and IEC, FAQs, and best practices.
    • Ensure clear and consistent communication between teams and with partners.
    • Develop content to promote organizational activities and achievements across various platforms.
    • Support the creation of materials to boost program visibility and stakeholder engagement.
    • Work closely with PCI team members to produce knowledge and learning products for knowledge sharing, aiming to communicate with government, donor, partners, development agencies and civil society
  1. Innovations and Incubation of Ideas, Models and Pilots
  • Will be responsible for undertaking innovation in the ongoing projects, systems and operations.
  • Will scout for new ideas and opportunities for Innovations and Business Development.
  • Will scan new ideas and models, Design and develop concept note and proposal and based on concept notes and proposals ensure implementation of pilots for developing proof of concepts.
  • Will develop operational strategies for innovative interventions and document the process, learning and advocacy with Government Departments, development agencies and Stakeholders.

4 . Documentation & Reporting

    • Support the leadership team of the project in timely preparation of programmatic, and any other strategic documents as requested by the donor, the client or any other external stakeholder
    • Finalizing meeting notes, draft articles, speeches, briefings, presentations, reports, documents and collated information as and when required for the state office and supervisor.
  1. Donor Management and Compliance
    • Develop and submit progress reports to and attend briefing meetings and discussions with the donor representatives.
    • Support in quality and timely completion of final deliverables.
    • Assist the donor-facing presentation and dissemination of all final products, as required
    • Support reporting manager in partnerships management by conducting regular collaborative meets and extending support through required preparations for the same.

About the Project

PCI, India is a technical partner of the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission. PCI provides technical assistance around integrations of Health & Nutrition interventions with community platforms promoted by UPSRLM. Further, UPSRLM has converged with the Department of Child Development, Govt. of UP to produce and supply supplementary food products called Take Home Ration to beneficiaries of ICDS by SHGs. Production and supply of supplementary food production through Self-help groups is a flagship program of Govt. Uttar Pradesh. The two largest govt. programs, ICDS and UPSRLM, have joined hands to address malnutrition through the availability and accessibility of nutritional food supplements at the household level through its last mile reach to the vulnerable households, and economic empowerment of marginalized women by engaging them in income generation activities and contributing to the household income. The decentralized local production of THR through SHG-led nutrition enterprises will ensure stronger accountability, reduced leakage, generate local employment, and greater empowerment of women, as a majority of the beneficiaries of THR are SHG households.

PCI, India aims to strengthen and support the efforts of UPSRLM on this initiative. This initiative is being implemented in 43 Districts of UP, where decentralized THR production will ensure sustainable livelihoods for rural women and quality THR to beneficiaries under the ICDS scheme of the Department of Child Development.

Recruitment Process
