Position Overview:

We are actively seeking an experienced Billing Engineer/Manager with 6-10 years of expertise in the water and sewerage industry. The ideal candidate will have advanced billing skills, including the preparation of client bills, subcontractor bill verification, and proficiency in key industry software.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing Expertise:
• Proficient in preparing abstracts of cost and quantity, measurement sheets, BOQ sheets, MOP, NGL sheets, material reconciliation, price variation, BBS, and amendments of quantity for accurate and timely client billing.
  
2. Contractor Billing:
• Thoroughly check and prepare subcontractor bills ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications.
  
3. Tender Analysis:
• Read and interpret tender documents and item specifications for comprehensive bill preparation.
  
4. Quantity and Price Management:
• Manage quantity variations, price variations, and extra item preparation with proper supporting documentation.
  
5. Work Order Amendments:
• Efficiently handle the amendment of work orders, providing necessary details for clear understanding.
  
6. Abstracts and Final Payment:
• Prepare abstracts of quantity and cost, collaborating with stakeholders to finalize payment methods.
  
7. Inspection:
• Conduct thorough construction site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and promptly report discrepancies.
  
8. Testing and Analysis:
• Test construction materials for quality and strength; analyze results and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.
9. Documentation:
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities. Generate reports outlining findings and recommendations.
  
10. Collaboration:
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to resolve quality issues and provide training on maintaining quality standards.
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in a similar role within the water and sewerage industry.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of billing processes, quantity surveying, and quality control.
• Proficiency in relevant construction and billing software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
