Summary of role:
- The Cluster Business Manager (CBM) manages the overall business operations of a designated cluster of stores, ensuring profitability and adherence to operational standards. This role focuses on leading, guiding, and coaching the team to consistently meet customer expectations while achieving top- and bottom-line objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Store Managers to optimize operations and achieve performance targets.
- Ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as sales, shrinkage, customer experience, and operational standards are met.
- Oversee adherence to store Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in alignment with organizational policies.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly store performance against targets, including sales, profitability, and costs, and effectively communicate objectives to the team.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with operational and visual merchandising standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain seamless area operations.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Drive team performance by setting clear goals, providing guidance, and conducting performance reviews.
- Coach and mentor staff to foster motivation, professional growth, and high standards of customer service.
- Address and manage performance issues in line with company policies and ensure consistent feedback.
- Keep the team informed about product updates, offers, and promotions, ensuring readiness to meet customer needs.
Customer Focus:
- Ensure an excellent customer experience is delivered across all stores in the cluster.
- Maintain composure and lead the team to handle customer challenges effectively Internal Business Process.
- Build strong relationships with functional teams to support store operations and resolve challenges.
- Work collaboratively to implement initiatives and deliver consistent results.

- A team player, self-motivated, adaptable to change, and constantly keeps himself/herself up to date with changes in the organizations.

Academics and Experience:
Qualification:
- Graduate/PG in any discipline.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience as CBM (Preferred industry FMCG).
- Should have experience in managing the front end work force.
