Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and objectives.
- Conduct regular client meetings to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.
Account Growth & Development:
- Develop and execute account plans to maximize client retention and revenue growth.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to introduce additional products or services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize solutions that address client-specific challenges.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned accounts by driving strategic initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with key clients to ensure mutual profitability.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead and provide innovative solutions.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Track account performance metrics, including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date client records in CRM systems to ensure seamless coordination.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Address client concerns promptly, ensuring quick resolution of issues and maintaining trust.
- Act as a client advocate within the organization, influencing internal processes and strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or a related role.
- Proven success in managing high-value clients and driving account growth.
- Experience in [industry-specific expertise, e.g, FMCG, technology, retail, etc.] is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales analytics software.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
