Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in Golang and Python to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in software automation testing, with a focus on designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications, microservices, and services by creating and automating test cases, and collaborating closely with architects and developers.

Responsibilities :

- Test Automation Framework Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks 1 using Golang and Python.

- Test Case Design & Automation : Write comprehensive test cases for software products, microservices, and services, and automate these test cases using appropriate tools and technologies.

- Programming & Scripting : Demonstrate proficiency in both Golang and Python programming languages for test automation and related tasks.

- Software Testing : Perform various types of software testing, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing (where applicable), and API testing.

- Environment Knowledge : Possess knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems for testing applications across different platforms.

- Requirements Understanding : Ability to understand requirements from architects and translate them into effective test plans and test cases.

- Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with developers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality. Communicate effectively about testing progress, results, and any identified issues.

- Problem Solving & Debugging : Utilize strong problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues in the software and test automation scripts.

- Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of experience in Software Automation Testing.

- Strong proficiency in Golang programming language.

- Proficiency in Python programming language.

- Experience in testing software applications, microservices-based applications, and services.

- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

- Experience writing test cases and automating them.

- Ability to understand requirements from architects and developers.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
