Job Description

Role & responsibilities



  • Partner Management: Identify, connect, and develop relationships with strategic partners or members. Engage in targeted outreach campaigns to build a robust network of affiliates. Must manage technical demonstrations and proposals jointly with partners for the end-customers.

  • Pre-Sales and Onboarding: Onboard and promote TROCCO and understand and create technical proposals and customers and partners. Must understand how ETL works and how data pipelines are created and maintained.

  • Events/Seminars: Managing the overall regular events and seminars related to the Data Engineering community over the year in PAN India. Finding potential partners and leads and integrating them to the Sales Team.

  • Strategy Development: Build and maintain the data engineering community to identify potential clients and partners for our product TROCCO. Propose technical details and demonstrate the platform to potential users.


Requirements


  • Experience: 6+ years working as events or partnership management and pre-sales for a B2B SaaS company, ETL or Data Engineering product experience is a plus; experience with a Product-Led Growth (PLG) company is a plus. Technical expertise in Data Engineering and relative terms like ETL/ELT, Data Warehouse Management SQL, and Data management.

  • Must have technical pre-sales experience with a SaaS business before. Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, Big Query experience is a plus.

  • Partner and Events Marketing Expertise: Experienced in creating and scaling successful partner marketing strategies and campaigns. Understanding how to manage leads in events and creating and managing community events in the future.

  • Platform Proficiency: Tracking and Reporting using a CRM platform like HubSpot is a must. The person must be willing to interact and engage with internal teams for strategies and feedback.

Preferred candidate profile


  • B2B Technical Sales Experience: 6+ years in B2B sales with technical skills to understand how data engineering product works, with a proven track record of exceptional performance in managing and developing partners and prospecting potential leads from lead forms and surveys during events.

  • Channel Network Development: Experience in building a channel network from scratch and developing new territories and markets in PAN India.

  • Marketing and Sales Integration: Understanding the role of marketing activities in business development, including identifying local marketing opportunities and driving partnerships to increase sales with events and exhibitions.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. MUST be well versed with Data Engineering tools or products.


Additionally, you must be comfortable using sales and marketing technology tools such as customer relationship management (CRM) software, email marketing platforms, and social media platforms.
