Job Description

What Youll Do

The Manager, Partner Services leads and scales the partner services function in India. You will oversee three specialized teams:

  1. Partner Engagement Desk: This team serves as the primary contact for partners, addressing both technical and non-technical inquiries related to our offerings, programs, and engagement processes
  2. Partner Success (Certified Implementation Provider CIP): Focused on training, certifying, and ensuring CIPs, this team ensure partners are equipped to provide and implement our solutions maximizing success of our mutual customers.
  3. Technology Partner Services: Dedicated to supporting technology partners, this team provides guidance for develop, and certification of partner-built integrations of Avalara products and services, including providing technical support and creation of integration guides

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • You will oversee the execution of Partner Services, ensuring high levels of quality and efficiency.
  • You will collaborate with global Partner Services teams to ensure coordination of effort and defining and revising processes.
  • Work with our teams like strategic alliances, partner development, partner, support, and partner marketing to ensure a cohesive partner experience and to optimize service offerings.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track Partner Service levels, issue resolution times and overall partner experience.
  • Engage with global Partner Services teams to facilitate team resource scheduling to ensure coverage on multiple continents.
  • Streamline and enhance Partner Services processes, ensuring efficiency scalability, and a seamless partner experience.
  • Collaborate with global Partner Services teams to develop strategies to train new team members for success.
  • Be an escalation point for partner issues and work to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with all partner-facing teams to develop strategies to keep partners informed about updates, best practices, and business developments.
  • Contribute to the partner strategy by identifying opportunities to enhance partner engagement and lead mutual success.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements to strengthen partner relationships.
  • Collaborate with all partner-facing teams to develop strategies to onboard, train partners for success.
  • You will be reporting to Director, Partner Management

What Youll Need to be Successful

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, operations, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • 6+ years of experience in technology operations or a related function within a SaaS or technology-.
  • 2+ years of experience in people management
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), partner portals (e.g, Mindmatrix), and support platforms.
