Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Learning & Development will lead and develop a high-performing team of learning professionals, driving enterprise-wide learning strategies that enhance workforce capability, performance, and engagement. This role partners closely with senior business leaders and Human Resources to design and implement innovative learning solutions that align with organizational goals. By shaping leadership development, talent readiness, and continuous learning initiatives, this position ensures Lowe s associates are equipped with the skills and competencies needed to drive business success and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Additionally, the role influences learning culture, integrates best practices, and fosters a scalable and forward-thinking development framework to support Lowe s long-term growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Drives the development and execution of a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals and future business needs.
- Leads cross-functional collaboration with senior business leaders to assess performance gaps and implement scalable solutions to enhance workforce capability.
- Consultation & Advisory:
- Acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, HRBPs, and senior stakeholders, providing insights on leveraging talent processes to drive business outcomes.
- Develops and executes enterprise-wide learning initiatives that reinforce company culture, values, and strategic priorities
- Program & Portfolio Management:
- Oversees the design, execution, and continuous enhancement of high impact learning programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Directs a portfolio of projects and initiatives, ensuring seamless execution, budget management, and measurable outcomes.
- Team Development & Capability Building:
- Builds and mentors a high-performing L&D team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Provides strategic direction, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and career growth.
- Vendor & Partner Management:
- Leads the evaluation and selection of external partners, ensuring alignment with organizational learning needs and maximizing ROI.
- Establishes and manages long-term vendor relationships to drive innovation and efficiency in learning solutions.
- Evaluation & Impact Assessment:
- Drives data-driven decision-making by establishing frameworks for measuring the effectiveness and business impact of learning initiatives.
- Ensures that learning solutions remain adaptive to evolving business needs, workforce diversity, and global best practices.
- Industry Trends & Best Practices:
- Stays ahead of emerging learning technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive.
- Establishes networks with industry peers and professional bodies to benchmark best practices and drive continuous improvement.
