Role & responsibilities

. Setting Up & Managing the In-House Application Lab

• Plan, design, and establish the company's in-house application lab for testing solvent dyes in various formulations.
• Identify and procure necessary lab equipment, raw materials, and testing protocols.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product testing, quality checks, and performance evaluation.
• Conduct application testing, simulations, and real-world trials to support product development and customer requirements.

• Identify and procure necessary lab equipment, raw materials, and testing protocols.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product testing, quality checks, and performance evaluation.
• Conduct application testing, simulations, and real-world trials to support product development and customer requirements.

2. Technical Support for Sales & Customers

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support,ensuring customers receive the best dye recommendations and troubleshooting assistance.
• Conduct product trials and demonstrations at the application lab and customer sites.
• Work closely with the sales team to address customer-specific application challenges and optimize formulations.
• Create technical documentation, product datasheets, and best practice guides for internal and customer use.

3. Collaboration with R&D & Product Development

• Work closely with R&D teams to develop, modify, and enhance solvent dye formulations based on customer feedback and industry trends.
• Conduct comparative studies with competitor productsand suggest improvements to strengthen market positioning.
• Assist R&D in testing new formulations before market launch to ensure consistency and quality.
• Provide regular feedback to R&D on performance issues and potential innovations.

4. Customer Engagement & Training

• Organize technical training sessions, webinars, and workshops for customers, sales teams, and distributors on dye applications.
• Conduct on-site visits to assist in troubleshooting customer issues and improve product adoption.

5. Quality & Compliance Support

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the paints, inks, and coatings market.
• Ensure the application lab adheres to industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Document and track customer complaints and performance issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Preferred candidate profile

5-7 Years in technical sales support, application development, or R&D in the solvent dyes, paints, inks, or coatings industry.
