PowerApps Developer - MS Dynamics 365 (4-6 yrs)

About the Role :

This is a wide-ranging, hands-on role for a Power Platform expert with experience in the IT industry and proven skills in technical consulting.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping Shell's computing strategy for end-user productivity, leading on standards for cloud consumption, and developing Power Apps solutions.

You will advise, scope, design, and define projects, often complex or broad in scope, while collaborating closely with business solution architects, project teams, and stakeholders.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities :

Power Apps Development :

- Design, test, and deploy Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven, and Portal) solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Common Data Service (CDS), Power Apps, and Dynamics 365 CE.

App Enhancement :

- Develop new Power Apps (model-driven and canvas) and enhance existing applications, optimizing for performance and user experience.

CRM Development: Develop CRM Plugins and Workflows.

PCF Control Development: Develop PCF Controls for both canvas and model-driven apps.

JavaScript Customization: Utilize strong JavaScript skills to customize Views/Forms.

Microsoft Stack Expertise :

- Demonstrate strong development knowledge of the Microsoft stack, especially C#, ASP.NET, Azure, and Office 365.

Custom Connector Development :

- Create custom connectors for Power Automate.

SharePoint Integration :

- Implement SharePoint integration scenarios with Power Apps and D365.

Power BI Development :

- Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.

- Connect data sources, import data, and transform data for business intelligence.

Solution Design & Architecture :

- Collaborate with Architects in developing solution designs, applying enterprise service architectural principles.

Requirements Gathering & Risk Management :

- Collaborate with Business Analysis functions to identify and mitigate risks from the requirements gathering phase throughout the solution lifecycle.

Performance Optimization :

- Drive performance optimization and continuous improvement opportunities on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/Power Apps from a platform perspective.

Stakeholder Management :

- Work closely with key users in a fast-paced environment to design and develop applications that meet business needs within the enterprise service design.

Documentation :

- Produce relevant technical documentation, such as platform designs, application development and design review guidelines, and SOP documentation for the support team.

Process Improvement :

- Identify potential improvements to the design and process of canvas/model-driven apps, especially for integrated use cases of Power Apps and Dynamics 365 CE.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Power Apps Expertise :

- Proven expertise in Power Apps development (Canvas, Model-Driven, and Portal).

- Microsoft Stack: Strong development knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, Azure, and Office 365.

CRM Development :

- Experience with CRM Plugins and Workflows.

PCF Control Development :

- Experience developing PCF Controls.

JavaScript :

- Strong JavaScript skills for customizing Views/Forms.

Integration Experience :

- Experience with SharePoint integration scenarios.

Power BI :

- Experience with Power BI report and dashboard development.

Solution Design :

- Ability to contribute to solution design and architecture.
