Job Description
The Senior HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing various human resources functions within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company s goals and objectives. The Senior HR Manager will work closely with senior leadership and department heads to ensure effective talent management, employee engagement, and compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization s business objectives and enhance overall performance.
Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. Develop talent management programs to identify and nurture high-potential employees.
Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, facilitating conflict resolution and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems that align with organizational goals, providing guidance to managers on performance-related issues.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the compensation and benefits team to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures and benefits offerings.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that promote fairness, equity, and consistency across the organization.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and make data-driven decisions to improve HR practices.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master s degree or relevant HR certification (e. g. , SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
