Everyone worries about the dooms-day in climate change which is expected to occur in the 2050s. However, theres one dooms day which is the reality for millions of people around the world today. Air pollution takes more than 7 Million lives globally every single year. Over 5% of premature child deaths occur due to air pollution in developing countries. Everyone has relied on governments or experts to solve the problem, but most solutions up until today have either been too expensive or too ineffective. Praan is an attempt at making the future cleaner, healthier, and safer for the generations to come.

As a Project Manager - Commercial Projects at Praan, you will be crucial in managing customer projects to ensure that our product, solution, delivery, and outcomes are as per customer expectations. You would be responsible for ensuring resource and time planning and drive cross-team communication to ensure project delivery for MKII and HIVE on time. You can on the responsibility immediately after our sales teams close deals. Only when you succeed, the company succeeds in delivering projects to customers.


Job Description

  • Assist in conducting technical feasibility studies and cost estimates to determine the viability of proposed solutions and support the proposal team
  • Work closely with the business development and sales teams to understand client needs and translate them into comprehensive technical proposals
  • Visit customer sites with the Sales team where necessary to understand the problems in detail to understand customer problems clearly
  • Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and liaison with the client s on-site tech and facilities teams to prepare the site for installation
  • Regular monitoring of the project for non-conformances (costs, deadlines, quality) and appropriate countermeasures
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders by sharing interim and final project status reports
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including technical reports, design specifications, system overviews and installation commissioning reports
  • Responsible for solving client issues in an effective and timely manner as prescribed Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Coordinate the flow of information between internal teams and clients, ensuring that deadlines are met and all technical aspects are well understood


Skill Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a project management role or similar capacity within a technical environment
  • Experience in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for creating detailed designs and drawings is preferred
  • Experience with client support for an IoT product is a must
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, particularly in mechanical, electrical, and system integration
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with product, engineering, and sales teams


Good to Have

  • Experience in handling projects for industrial dust collection systems, air purification, or HVAC-related projects
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, supply chain management, or product development
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
