Product Specialist

Key Responsibilities

o Build the insights into the product requirements through various sources like

• Voice of Customer/partner
• Market research & competitive analysis
• Voice of internal and external sales team (channel)
• Future trend & technology upgradation

o Work with the customers to co-develop the products on a need basis.

o Interact with OEM/ HQ/ Vendors (Local and International) to develop the product.

o Hands on experience in hardware product handling and managing the life cycle of the product particularly in IT industry (PC, Laptop, Tablet, Printers etc) / TV Industry.

o Prepare technical data sheet for sales promotion.

o Maintain internal database of product technical data/ brochure/ images use case videos/ unboxing video/ voice of customers/ EDM etch which helps to promote the product effectively in the market.

o Prepare Product presentation file compared with competition & market requirements which assist in sales process.

o Time to time do field visit along with sales or marketing team to understand the user feedback and ensure such features are addressed in upcoming products or launch new product based on same

o Key responsibilities include maintaining the hygiene of the website (live and EOL products) and its data perfection.

o Sales trend analysis & presenting report to top management.

o Assisting sales team to help sell the product effectively by pitching right product and thus influence sales revenue.

o Inventory forecast planning (Coordination with sales & procurement)

o Participating in promotion activities (M I C E)

o Overall, responsible for owning the product & its life cycle management in coordination with sales VP.

- Should have held a position Presales/ Product role for an IT Hardware product preferably in the laptop/ Computers/ Routers/ Printers/ Televisions Min 5 years experience.

- Candidates should have technical knowledge on product life cycle management.
