Supply Chain Executive - US Shift

Role & responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the hospital's goals and objectives.

Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement of medical supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary supplies while minimizing waste and costs.

Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms.

Logistics Coordination: Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of supplies to various departments within the hospital.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, and manage risks associated with supply chain operations.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor supply chain performance and make informed decisions.

Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile:

Education: A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) can be advantageous.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of supply chain processes, healthcare regulations, and industry best practices.

This role is vital for maintaining the smooth operation of hospital services and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and would involve working into US Shifts.
