Supply Chain Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the complete lifecycle of import and export shipments, from scheduling to delivery.
• Prepare and ensure accuracy in shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure adherence to international trade regulations and smooth processing at ports.
• Address potential delays and proactively communicate shipment status updates to all stakeholders.
• Analyze transit times, shipping costs, and vendor performance to ensure continuous process optimization.
• Maintain records of local transport vendors and help optimize costs through rate comparisons.

• Maintain organized records of shipment details and assist in preparing periodic logistics performance reports.
• Address routine shipment-related issues with vendors and escalate as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics-related inquiries from internal departments and external vendors, ensuring smooth coordination across all parties.
