SharePoint Developer

Role & responsibilities :

• Analyze Requirements: Understand user and business needs to design appropriate SharePoint solutions.
• Design and Development: Create, code, and implement SharePoint applications using technologies like .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Customization: Modify and customize SharePoint systems to align with organizational requirements.
• Testing and Debugging: Test and debug SharePoint applications to ensure functionality and performance.
• Documentation: Create technical documentation and user guides for new systems or updates.
• Training and Support: Provide end-user training and support for SharePoint applications.
• Security Management: Ensure the security of SharePoint systems by managing user permissions.
• Collaboration: Work with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Stay Updated: Keep up with SharePoint updates and new technologies, recommending their adoption where appropriate.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications.
• Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with SharePoints application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services.
• Microsoft MCPD 70-576, SharePoint 2010/2013 Designing and Developing Applications certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services a plus.
