Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Business Development Role to join our team.
This is a leadership position responsible for driving the growth of our business across international markets.
You will lead key account management, identify new business opportunities, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve company objectives and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key Account Handling: Manage and nurture relationships with strategic global clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and continued growth.
- New Account Addition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets to expand the company's customer base and market reach.
- Sales Team Mentoring: Lead, coach, and develop a global sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Provide guidance and support to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement business development strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align global business development efforts with the company's strategic vision.
- Market Expansion: Research and analyze global market trends and competitors to uncover new opportunities and ensure a competitive edge in the marketplace.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, clients, and industry influencers, to foster business growth.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track, measure, and report on the success of business development initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management on key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress toward objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in global business development, sales, or a similar leadership role, ideally in [industry sector].
- Strong track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving new business growth.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment with the capacity to adapt to evolving market conditions.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends and data to inform strategic decisions.
- Experience in managing and executing strategic sales plans across multiple regions.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
Preferred Skills:
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
Experience working with CRM systems and sales automation tools.
Familiarity with international business cultures and customs
