Job Overview.
We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team at Podar Education Network in Mysuru.

This is a Full-Time, Mid-Level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience.

The candidate will play a crucial role in managing construction projects, ensuring high standards of technical execution and excellence.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of educational infrastructure, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional learning environments.

Key Responsibility.

Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.

Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other).

Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.

Assess potential risks, materials and costs.

Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.

Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

Handle over the resulting structures and services for use.

Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.

Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.

Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.

Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.

Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.

Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel.

Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.

Skills.

BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject.

Proven working experience in civil engineering.

Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.

Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.

Project management and supervision skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
