B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Perform all aircraft maintenance in a safe, proper working manner and on-time completion of all work assigned.
• Ensure all safety and environmental regulations are carried out and equipment properly maintained
• Perform on the job technical training on aircraft maintenance practices, company policies, and safety
• Procedures with new or inexperienced employees when required
• Complete all company documentation on all work assigned            
• Work as part of the Engineering Maintenance Team
• Must be a good team player while able to act under ones own initiative when required, and have a sound understanding of the Aircraft Maintenance requirements with high customer service standard
• Knowledgeable and  skillful Aircraft Maintenance duties
• Should have training or experience within a similar work environment.
• Display a sound understanding of corporate business objectives and plans including computerized systems in Aircraft Maintenance work environments.
• Have some hands on Aircraft Maintenance experience with similar organizations and IAS computer systems.
• Perform on the job technical training on aircraft maintenance practices, company policies, and safety
• Company safety systems and regulatory affairs  and procedures
• MRO regulations, process and procedures and Statutory requirements
• CASA regulatory affairs  and procedures
• Responsible for Aircraft Maintenance and other duties required by the supervisor
• Perform on the job technical training on aircraft maintenance practices, company policies, and safety
• Work as part of the Engineering Maintenance Team

Preferred candidate profile

• Must be a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 2 years experience on Dash 8.
• Have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and pass on knowledge and skills to all maintenance employees within the Engineering Department
• Have high level of computer literacy especially in MS Excel and Word would be beneficial
• Be proactive and physically fit
• Must have good customer service skills
• Strong and mature leadership qualities with a desire to excel in a growing business environment that offers future career progression

• Have strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated, good work ethics with a positive attitude
• Previous work experience in a multicultural environment
