Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Liaisoning Officer to join our team. This role involves handling all interactions with government and local authorities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating smooth project approvals within the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of building permits and legal requirements, with proven experience in obtaining clearances and managing project approvals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Government Coordination: Coordinate with local government departments and regulatory authorities for project approvals, permits, and clearances.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects are in full compliance with zoning, land use, and building regulations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including municipal officers, government representatives, and external agencies.
  • Documentation & Approvals: Oversee and expedite the process of obtaining the necessary documentation and approvals for real estate projects.
  • Monitor Legal Compliance: Ensure projects are aligned with all applicable laws and regulations throughout the process.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve issues or conflicts that may arise with government authorities, local residents, or other stakeholders.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all communications with authorities and track the status of approvals and pending actions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports and status updates to senior management on the progress of approvals and compliance matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of real estate laws, building codes, and zoning regulations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with government officials and other stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience: Proven experience in obtaining clearances and approvals for real estate projects.
  • Local Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local government and regulatory frameworks.
  • Compliance Management: Demonstrated experience handling project approvals, legal compliance, and related matters in the real estate industry.
