Chief Manager - Crystallization

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer with expertise in crystallization processes. The incumbent will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving crystallization processes across various projects within the organization. They will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative crystallization techniques to enhance product quality, yield, and efficiency.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. A Ph. D. in Chemical Engineering with a focus on crystallization is preferred. Proven experience (15 years) working in the field of crystallization, preferably in a chemical manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.

1. Lead and oversee all aspects of crystallization processes, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
2. 2. Design and optimize crystallization processes to produce high-quality products, utilizing principles of thermodynamics, kinetics, and mass transfer.
3. Conduct experiments and trials to study and analyse crystallization behaviour, including nucleation, growth, and crystal morphology.
4. 4. Develop and implement process control strategies to achieve desired crystal properties, such as size, shape, and purity.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Process Development, and Production, to transfer and scale-up crystallization processes from laboratory to plant scale.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to crystallization processes, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.
7. Stay abreast of advancements in crystallization technology and contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards in crystallization operations.
10. Document and report findings, results, and recommendations related to crystallization processes, contributing to project reports, technical documents, and regulatory submissions.
