Technical Project Manager (5-7 yrs)

About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex full-stack development projects, specializing in the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.

- As the Technical Project Manager, you will be the central point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, responsible for managing resources, providing leadership, and driving successful project outcomes.

- You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities :

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

- Execute projects according to the plan, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.

- Lead and motivate cross-functional development teams.

- Assign tasks, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders (internal and external).

- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

- Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and that projects remain within budget constraints.

- Track expenses and report on budget variances.

- Identify and assess potential project risks.

- Develop mitigation strategies and proactively address issues to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables.

- Ensure that projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.

- Implement quality control measures and oversee testing processes.

- Proactively identify and resolve project issues and roadblocks.

- Escalate critical issues to appropriate stakeholders as needed.

- Provide regular project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise information sharing.

- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies.

- Identify opportunities for optimization and implement best practices.

- Maintain a strong understanding of web development best practices, including UI/UX principles, and the MERN stack.

- Provide technical guidance to the development team as needed.

- Oversee day-to-day project operations, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of proven experience managing full-stack development projects, specifically in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React. js, Node.js).

- Demonstrable experience delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder management.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage project budgets and resource allocation effectively.

- Knowledge of web development best practices, including UI/UX principles.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage development teams.

- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).

Preferred Skills :

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
