Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and driven BI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for data analytics. As a BI Engineer, you will play a key role in developing interactive dashboards, designing reporting solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tableau Development: hands-on experience in developing Tableau dashboards with a focus on creating visually appealing and informative reports.
- SAP Business Objects: experience in developing Web Intelligence (WeBI) reports and creating and maintaining underlying universes.
- Data Warehouse & SQL Expertise: Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and SQL. Experience working with multiple backend databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
- Data Analysis: Solid data analytical skills for querying, analyzing, and extracting insights from large datasets.
- Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work as an individual contributor while being proactive in collaborating with business teams, understanding requirements, and supporting the project through to go-live.
- Other BI Tools: Experience with other BI tools such as Power BI or Cognos is an advantage.
- ETL Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools like SAP BODS is a plus.
- Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.
