Power BI with SAP BO - Lead

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dashboard and Report Development:
• Design and develop dynamic dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for reporting and analytics.
2. SAP BO Integration:
• Extract data from SAP BO using universes, WebI reports, and other tools.
• Convert existing SAP BO reports into Power BI dashboards.
3. Data Transformation and Modeling:
• Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks to clean, transform, and model data for reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Provide technical guidance on Power BI and SAP BO functionalities.
5. Performance Optimization:
• Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and scalability.
• Analyze and improve existing SAP BO reports for better efficiency.
6. Training and Documentation:
• Provide training to end-users on Power BI and assist with adoption.
• Document processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, visuals, etc.).
• Proficiency in SAP BO tools like Web Intelligence (WebI), Universe Designer, and Info View.
• Data Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehouse concepts.
• General Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with business stakeholders.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Power BI and SAP BO.
• Experience in migrating or integrating data from SAP BO to Power BI is a plus.
