Product Manager II

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with deep expertise in US Investment Banking, Cost Basis reporting, and Tax Services applications. The ideal candidate will drive product vision and strategy while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions in our Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business strategy and stakeholder needs
• Define and articulate product vision, roadmap, and features for Cost Basis/Tax services platforms
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions following Agile methodologies
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex financial concepts into clear user stories
• Prioritize features based on business value, market needs, and regulatory requirements
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint review sessions
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making and user feedback
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax reporting requirements

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner in financial services
• Strong understanding of US Investment Banking, trade lifecycle, and securities operations
• Deep knowledge of Cost Basis reporting and Tax services applications
• Proven track record of successful product delivery in Agile environments
• Experience with regulatory requirements (IRS, SEC) affecting financial products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities

Technical Knowledge

• Understanding of investment products (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
• Familiarity with trading systems and financial data flows
• Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Knowledge of tax lot accounting and reporting systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification
• Experience with major financial institutions
• Background in tax reporting or cost basis applications
• Understanding of API integrations and data services
