Lead I - Semiconductor Product Validation

Independently handle test deliverables and deadline management coordinate with and build the team for a given project

Outcomes:

1. Work with customer to ensure there are no escalations
2. Coordinate with the team effectively
3. Conduct technical interview for the project requirements
4. Perform validation and root cause analysis
5. Perform escape analysis
6. Isolate/ packetize the failures to correct component
7. Attend customer meeting and communicate effectively on the requirements/ results.
8. Locate the product failures and report it in test repository and bug tracker
9. Learn technology business domain system domain individually and as recommended by the project/account
10. Complete the certifications for the role (like ISTQB UST GAMMA certifications)
11. Ensure the product and validation complies with the defined SLA

Measures of Outcomes:

1. Perform defect triaging
2. Adherence to schedule and timelines
3. Number of post delivery defects
4. Number of non-compliance issues
5. SLA turnaround of production bugs
6. Define productivity standards for project
7. Completion of all mandatory training requirements

Outputs Expected:

Manage Project:

1. Manage task deliverables with quality and targeting completion timeframe.

Estimate:

1. Estimate time
   effort
   and resource dependence for ones own work and for others work.

Document:

1. Create component level / product behaviour documents
2. Create test reporting templates
   BKMs and knowledge sharing documents for team

Status Reporting:

1. Report status of tasks assigned
2. Compliance with validation standards and process

Mentoring:

1. Mentor senior validation engineers by providing on job facilitations
2. Host classroom training sessions for the junior validation engineers
