Role & responsibilities

Supply Compliance

- Ensuring availability of materials and services at right time and at right cost.

- Working with suppliers to ensure timely supply of right quality and quantity of the Finished Goods, so that there is no production exception due to material constraint

- Scheduling of Orders as per planning sheet/ norms and indent by coordinating with vendors for dispatch schedule to comply on delivery schedule

- Ensure vendor payment as per agreed payment terms

- Identify Potential Supply issues and plan a strategy of alternate vendor development, increase in norms.

- Coordinate with Customs House Agent (CHA) to ensure timely clearances (for P2P & Imports)

- Engage to understand the variability in demand with the CFT.

Sourcing-

- Data Collection on requirement, trends, vendors, product catalogues, etc.

- Market Research

- Study import statistics

- Identify local sources with product capabilities and leadtimes.

- Understand Key Cost Drivers and the environment scan

- Spend Analysis

- Ability to arrive to a Should cost and drive negotiations accordingly.

Vendor Development for Finished Products-

- Availability of division aligned Product catalogue on shortlisted categories

- Maintaining repository of the vendors FG & Kitting

- Product Development

- Costing, Trails, product Improveme nt,

- Quality Compliance.

- TAT Reduction processes.

Inventory Management –

- Generation of Inventory report, Review and monitor inventory in accordance to norms.

- Change management planning.

- Stock Ageing analysis and trigger to Divisions for NM Clearance.

Process Adherence and Master data management-

- Adherence to SPPBMs (SOP’s).

- Periodic review of SPPBMs(SOP’s) and incorporate changes / new processes.

- Ensure correctness of Source list, Vendor master data/ and other applicable masters.

Procurement Process

- Taking quotations for material from all approved sources, conducting negotiations and rate proposal in line with approved SOBs and Authority matrix.

- Timely raising of price masters & purchase order.

- Ensure statutory compliance norms are met for all transactions / agreements.

Make Vs Buy- Periodic analysis
